Call for Projects 2018

Helping media fight misinformation and restore the public’s trust

For our first call for proposals, we wish to tackle a key issue: disinformation, or fake news, and the necessity for traditional media companies to restore the public’s trust. This topic is meant to be transversal and unifying, both in the media sector as well as in academia. It requires imagining novel multidisciplinary approaches that integrate social and human sciences with engineering sciences, in a combined effort to seek out solutions based on collaborations between both professional and academic parties.

With this call for projects, we intend to defend the principle of applied research allowing for media partners to carry on their digital transformation and their quest for sustainable solutions, and for scientific institutions to pursue novel research in their domains.

For more information, including the terms of participation, submission process, evaluation criteria and timeline, please refer to the document below which is available in English or French.
